Eligibility Criteria:
The vacancies have been released for the selection of candidates for the various posts in the Indian Coast Guard Service. The required criteria for each post are a bit different. - Must have 50% marks for General and OBC candidates in class 10th or 12th board examinations.
- And 45% for SC/ST candidates.
- And for the general candidates. If you are sports person of National level and obtained 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in any field of sports you will get relaxation of 5%
- Age Limits: The candidate age must be a minimum of 18 years old and the max age is 22 years old.

Physical and Medical requirements:

- 1.6km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
- 20 squats up.
- 10 push-ups etc
Medical Standard:
- The Height of the candidate should not be less than the 157cm
- Chest expansion should be 5cm and well proportioned.
- Weight should be standard as per your height.
- Hearing should be normal.
- Eyesight should be 6/36.
- A permanent body Tattoo is not allowed on any part of the body. If the candidate belongs to the tribal area community then tattoos are allowed only on the inner face and inner arms as per the central govt. Rule.

How to Apply for Indian Coast Guard Navik/Yantrik Vacancy:
- The application will be accepted only online. Go to the official website www.indiancoastguard.gov.in then click on the “opportunity/career” button and proceed as given below.
- Select the advertisement for Recruitment Coast Guard Navik/Yantrik 1/2023 Notification.
- Select the post applied for Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik
- Click on the ‘I Agree button and the ‘Online Application’ will be displayed.
- Proceed to fill up the application {All Star (*) marked entries are compulsory and to be filled}.
