  • Must have 50% marks for General and OBC candidates.
  • And 45% for SC/ST candidates.

  • Age Limits: The candidate’s age must be a minimum of 18 years old and the max-age is 22 years old.

  • 1.6km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
  • 20 squats up.
  • 10 push-ups etc

Medical Standard:

  • The Height of the candidate should not be less than the 157cm
  • Chest expansion should be 5cm and well proportioned.
  • Weight should be standard as per your height.
  • Hearing should be normal.
  • Eyesight should be 6/36.
  • A permanent body Tattoo is not allowed on any part of the body. If the candidate belongs to the tribal area community then tattoos are allowed only on the inner face and inner arms as per the central govt. Rule.

Selection Process of Coast Guard Navik:

How to Apply for the Indian Coast Guard Sailor Vacancy:

  • The application will be accepted only online. Go to the official website www.indiancoastguard.gov.in then click on the “opportunity/career” button and proceed as given below.
  • Select the advertisement for Recruitment of Navik (DB) (10th Entry) or upcoming Batch.
  • Select the post applied for Navik (Domestic Branch).
  • Click on the ‘I Agree’ button and the ‘Online Application’ will be displayed.
  • Proceed to fill up the application {All Star (*) marked entries are compulsory and to be filled}.
  • Candidates have to upload the photograph and signature in .jpeg format (image quality 200 dpi). The size of the photograph and signature must be between 10 kb to 40 kb and 10 kb to 30 kb respectively.
  • Upon completion of filling out the application, check your filled details once again prior to clicking on the Submit button.
