Navy MR Vacancy 2021 Selection Process:

The Selection of the candidates in the Matrix recruits vacancy will be done in three phases. One will need to clear the following phases of selection to be part of the Indian Navy service through the Navy MR Entry:

  • Computer-based Test (Online Examination)
  • Physical Fitness Test

Computer-Based Test:

  • The paper would be in the form of Objective type Questions with Multiple choice answers.
  • There would be total of 50 Questions.
  • Each questions would be carring one marks.
  • The Question paper would have two sections. Science & Mathematics and General Science etc.
  • The overall paper would be divided into four parts. Each portions would be covering 25 marks.
  • Negative maring woild be also there, 0.25 marks would be minus for each wrong response.

Physical Fitness Test:

The name itself defines the tests. Under the physical fitness tests, One will have to appear for the physical activities on the basis of which, One will be awarded marks. A candidate will appear for the following activities:

  • 1.6 km of running in 7 minutes.
  • Squats (atleast 20)
  • Push-ups and other physical activities etc.

To appear for this physical fitness test round, The height of the candidate should not be less than 157cm and chest expansion should be at least 5 cm. There is some relaxation in height for the candidates who belong to the Hilly areas. You must check the official notification to get exact details about the relaxation criteria.

Medical Examination:

We all are aware of this round. In this round, Your medical examination would be done under the guidance of the Military doctor at the Military Hospital. Your complete body will be examined like Internal organs as well as an external part of the body.
