The eligible age group for NDA exam 2024 is 16.5 years to 19.5 years, which means candidates must not be born earlier than January 2, 2004, and not later than January 1, 2007. However, if you are thinking that 19.5 is the maximum age limit, hold on. The good news is that there is a relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to certain categories.
For example, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes can have age relaxation of up to five years, while candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) can have age relaxation of up to three years. Similarly, sons of serving/ex-Junior Commissioned Officers/Non-Commissioned Officers/Petty Officers can enjoy relaxation of up to five years in age.

If you have certain qualifications like a pilot license or a commercial pilot license issued by the Director-General of Civil Aviation, then you can enjoy age relaxation of up to two and a half years.
